AI Tools for Solopreneurs
Artificial intelligence isn’t just for Silicon Valley or tech bros with venture capital. It’s a tool that women solopreneurs over 40 (like me) can use to level the playing field and move the needle in their businesses.
Recently, I came across a quote that stopped me in my tracks:
“The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.” – @jeffowski
I call BS.
Because in my real, day-to-day work as a coach, podcaster, and small business owner, AI has done the exact opposite. It has given me access to tools, time, and clarity that would otherwise be out of reach.
In episode 285 of Gratitude Geek I share:
- Why I completely disagree with that viral AI quote
- The 3 AI tools I use daily: NotebookLM, ChatGPT, and Canva
- How I’m repurposing content on my blog using these tools
- A brand-new free resource: 8 Bold Experiments to Move the Needle in Your Business
So, let’s dig in and talk about the practical ways AI can help solopreneurs thrive — without selling our souls to the robots.
Meet Kandas Rodarte (Hey, That’s Me!)
I’m Kandas Rodarte — Growth Coach for women solopreneurs over 40, host of the Gratitude Geek podcast since 2014, and unapologetic believer that women are changemakers who uplift everyone.
I’ve been around the digital block a few times. Back in 1998, I launched an ecommerce store (before “add to cart” was even a thing). In the early 2000s, I ran a web hosting and design business. Now, I coach, I podcast, I blog, and yes — I let AI do some of the heavy lifting so I can spend more time being creative (and crocheting, because life’s too short not to have a good yarn stash).
If you’re looking for someone who sugarcoats business advice, that’s not me. But if you want real talk, practical strategies, and a side of clever humor, then — hey, that’s me!
