My Story: From Cancer Diagnosis to New Purpose
When I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, my world didn’t just tilt — it imploded. Suddenly, my future felt like a question mark scribbled in permanent marker.
Instead of letting fear dictate my next moves, I chose to treat healing like a full-contact sport. I combined traditional treatments (chemo, radiation) with alternative practices inspired by Radical Remission — my “battlefield manual.” Acupuncture worked so well to manage my nausea that my doctor started recommending it to other patients. I revamped my diet, embraced mindset practices, and found my “permission to live” on my own terms.
But the most unexpected gift? That diagnosis forced me to slow down, get radically honest, and ask: What truly matters?
This reckoning led me to pivot my career completely. I shifted into business coaching, and dedicated myself to empowering women entrepreneurs to build lives they actually want — not just ones that look good on Instagram.
That diagnosis — my so-called “negative” — revealed a mission I never would have found otherwise.
What Is the Law of Polarity?
The Law of Polarity teaches that opposites don’t fight each other — they define each other. Without darkness, we wouldn’t recognize light. Without setbacks, success wouldn’t taste as sweet.
In a world obsessed with highlight reels and hustle culture (ugh), we’re taught to chase endless highs and avoid discomfort at all costs. But lasting transformation lives in the contrast — in the tension between loss and gain, despair and joy.

- Reframe setbacks as lessons in disguise. Ask yourself: What is this really here to teach me?
- Honor the full range of your emotions. Feel it all — the grief, the rage, the hope. It’s all raw material for growth.
- Remember that contrast is necessary. You aren’t failing because things are hard; you’re forging resilience and clarity.
